Safeguarding & Risk

Beechwood House Clinic is committed to promoting the safety and wellbeing of all clients. Information shared during sessions is confidential; however, confidentiality may be broken if there is concern about serious harm to you or others, risk of abuse, or a legal requirement to disclose information. Wherever possible, this will be discussed with you in advance.

If you are experiencing significant medical instability, acute risk, or require crisis intervention, you may be advised to seek support through your GP, NHS eating disorder services, or emergency care. This service does not provide out-of-hours crisis support.

If you are at immediate risk, contact emergency services on 999, attend your nearest Accident & Emergency department, or contact NHS 111 for urgent medical advice. Your local crisis team may also be available for mental health emergencies.
